I been taking these little quizzes and I like to do them for fun but they are actually pretty accurate. Anyways, most of my results were spot on and one stuck out to me. It said something about possessing the ability to influence and inspire others. If this had been a few months ago, I would've totally disregarded that, but I am working on trying to see myself in a more positive, optimistic light and I put the results to theory. I have a few friends that I actually met in California and according to them, I basically gave them the courage to make changes in their lives. My friend Crystal ended up pursuing college after she had listened in on one of my classes and listened to me talk all about my passion for school and my future career goals. I guess I gave her that push to finally go through it. She is doing so great in school and I'm glad I could help ignite that fire in her to go for it. My other friend, Aaron, he tells me constantly that I gave him something to look forward to and pushed him to want to be a better person. Before I came along, he was just settling and going day by day. After I inspired him, he went out, got a job, and actually wants to make something of himself. He feels as if he has a new purpose and I feel good to know I helped jumpstart him wanting to make that change. I was always so down on myself and feeling like I could never make a difference to anyone, at least enough for it to count but their stories helped me see that I can be something great, so I'm going to keep doing my best to get others to see the best in themselves, even if I don't always see it within myself.
