I took some time off from work and this weekend I finally got the chance to hang out with family. It felt so good to just be there with them and not have to worry about anything else. I took my nieces and nephews to the haunted house on Friday and I enjoyed every moment of it. Afterwards, I went and got us cinnamon rolls to make and I rented a movie from Red Box. My older sister and I even stayed the night at my mom's. It was kind of weird, though, when my husband came by the next day and I did his hair in the living room. We started grilling a little late, but I made the drinks and got all the adults feeling pretty good. We got the fire pit out and the kids made smores I have to start getting ready to meet with my nutritionist but I thought I'd put a blog out there about my awesome weekend. I needed this time to be with them. I miss too many things with me working weekends but this time I got to see a peak of what happens when I'm not around and I'm going to miss it when I go back.
