Well, I didn't get one of those jobs out of the two interviews. The one that turned me down was actually the one I was most sure of getting that position, but my heart wasn't really set on it to begin with but I had such self-doubt over getting the other job that I would've just settled for it. However, now for the good news: the position I REALLY wanted is the place that called me back! The lady from HR called me and offered it to me but I just had to get my paperwork in for the background check. I took all of that up there yesterday so it should be back within a week. The title talks about "medium situations" and that came from my friend talking about "when it rains, it fucking pours!" because everything always seems to topple over all at once and it feels like nothing good will come again. For me, I was receiving a mix of good news but there was still such bullshit coming at me from everything and everyone else. It felt/feels like, the good and bad was/are being paired and that even though I was still getting the good I couldn't fully enjoy it because the bad kept keeping me down. I just want it to be months from now already and everything has come full circle and I'm already in a place where I should be without all the shitty things happening right now.
