I feel like LOVE has been on my mind. Well, just in a blogging sense in that I want to talk about it. Plus, it's my 3 year anniversary today. What is on my mind is how love can change you physically and can actually alter your brain's chemistry, but I am not going to go all science teacher on you. I'm just going to write from personal experience about what it feels like to be in love... Love, to me, feels like the best rollercoaster ride of your life and the worst pain you have ever felt all at once. It is such a beautiful, tragic emotion to ever experience and it hurts so bad. When you are newly in love, you have this excited energy about you and you see the world through fresh eyes. It's like everything is brighter and louder and you feel like you want to skip everywhere. You feel like the world is your playground and like nothing can ever go wrong because you are so in love with this other human being. Even after you have been with someone for so long, the love becomes comfortable and you feel like you can breathe a sigh of relief because you didn't think no one could ever truly accept you for who you are. It's like you are walking in the opposite direction of the crowd, holding this person's hand and you are smiling ear to ear because you finally feel free. In my opinion, love has no words. You just kind of sit there, taking it all in and loving every moment. Have you ever loved someone so much that it left you stuck? Love steals your breathe away but then you feel so exhilarated and wonderful that you don't mind. Yes, love is amazing but if it doesn't work out, it's the heart break that ensues that will destroy you. That is a fate I don't wish on anyone.
