I wish we lived in a world where men and women were truly treated equally. I hate to think that people still believe that women are beneath men, that we don't and can't amount to them. I know those beliefs still exist and I think it's ridiculous and completely outdated. I feel as if women have to go through so much more in life and even just surviving life daily. I guess it is just hard for me to grasp that men still think we're incapable of doing certain tasks. Like, seriously? Guys should try bleeding out of their penis' for a week, fighting off the urge to bite someone's head off because they didn't get the right shade of pink or some other bullshit reason when you're PMSing. Men should try carrying another human life for nine months. That alone is enough physical and emotional trauma that give women superpowers to get through all of the constant fuckery that men and society put upon us. On top of giving birth to these tiny little humans that go to join the rest of the population, we still have all these expectations society believes we should abide by. They expect the "perfect" woman; always look like we've walked off of a photo shoot, take care of the kids, and do all of the "pretty" jobs. Well, FUCK YOU SOCIETY AND MEDIA, and men with outdated beliefs that women should only be barefoot and pregnant. Women are human beings too and our life isn't continually glamorous just because we have a vagina and great skin, however having boobs can be awesome at times. I am a firm believer of women being able to do anything a man can. Some things men can do better naturally but women should be given the option to try. Yes, we can be emotional creatures and hard to reason with but that doesn't mean we don't deserve respect. Without us the human race wouldn't exist.
